Partnering with BEVEL, these names evoke a sense of advanced technology and a forward-looking approach to the art of barbering.

The Master Barber Training Program is on the cutting edge of hairstyling and grooming. The curriculum aims to develop skilled barbers who are well-prepared for the evolving grooming industry.

This extensive 1500-hour program is centered on modern barbering practices, starting with

BAR-BER-OLOGY 101 and advancing to Tonsorial Artistry 101. It combines foundational techniques with innovative methods, enabling students to thrive in traditional barbering while embracing the latest techniques and tools.

Together, The ATLBI and BEVEL represent a fusion of advanced technology and artistry in barbering, offering a cutting-edge program that embraces the latest techniques and tools to create stunning, futuristic looks.

    In 2022, 78% of barbers were men and 22% were women. The average age of a barber is 38 years old. The most common ethnicities of barbers are White (60%), Hispanic or Latino (22%), Black or African American (6.8%), and Asian (6.6%).

    In May 2023, the median hourly wage for barbers was $17.38. The lowest 10% earned less than $12.87, and the highest 10% earned more than $29.37. 

  • Job outlook

    Employment of barbers is projected to grow 8% from 2022 to 2032, which is faster than the average for all occupations. 

  • Licenses

    To qualify for a license, candidates must typically graduate from a state-approved barber or cosmetology program and pass an exam. 

  • Work schedules

    Most barbers work full time, but part-time work is also common. Work schedules often include evenings and weekends. 

  • Barber shops

    The industry revenue for barber shops in the US has grown at a CAGR of 1.7% over the past five years, to reach an estimated $5.8bn in 2024.
